Many Chinese businesses seek opportunities in Vietnam Featured

On 12/01 in Hanoi, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) organized business forum Vietnam-China.

The forum was attended by more than 20 Chinese enterprises  in the main fields of trade, real estate, power transmission engineering, production and supply of electric poles, finance, building materials, agriculture and energy ... with the desire of meeting Vietnamese partners, looking for investment opportunities, business, and product distribution agent.

Initially, the Chinese enterprises want to exchange market information, demand for imports, consumption products in Vietnam.

Opening the forum, Mr. Pham Quang Thinh, Deputy Head of International Relations (VCCI), said from 2004 to now, during 10 years, China is the largest trading partner of Vietnam.

China is the number one export market in Vietnam about: computers and components, natural rubber, coal and rice.

The value of goods exchange between the two sides also growth rapidly during the past several years.

In which, the mainly intems that Vietnam exports to the Chinese are computers, electronic products and components; fiber, many kind of textiles; vegetables, cassava and cassava products .... and imports machinery, equipment, tools, spare parts, electronic components, cameras, camcorders and accessories, apparel, steel, fertilizer from China

Mr.Zhang Shuai, Chief of Chinese shared enterprise, Chinese enterprises are very interested in the Vietnam market, with the strength of large consumers, having a transparent and stable business environment as well as the advantages of geography.

These favorable factors that will contribute to increase the investment and trade with Vietnam.

Especially, when the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) takes effect on opening a large market, with over 600 million citizens of 10 member countries and the strong gravitational pull for the two-way trade activities between China and ASEAN through transhipment operations via Vietnam ..

According to Mr. Pham Quang Thinh, the end of 2015 the Asean-China free trade area has officially been made involving to 7,000 tariff items with 0%.
